SUBMISSIONS – FULL PAPERS FOR PRESENTATION AND PUBLICATION
All full papers submitted will be double-blind peer reviewed. Special consideration will be given to those papers emphasizing the conference theme “ Modern Workforce Challenges, Responsibiliities, and Rights in the Global Community”. This will be a requirement for those wanting their papers considered for a special issue of the International Journal for Responsible Employment Practices and Principles (IJREPP).
There are two formats for submission of papers:
(1) Authors who want their papers considered only for presentation and publication in the conference Proceedings, please see the directions below.
(2) For those who in addition to consideration for presentation and inclusion in the conference Proceedings, want their papers to be also considered for a special issue of the International Journal for Responsible Employment Practices and Principles, please see further details on at www.aepp.net. Papers accepted for the special issue of IJREPP will also be included in the Conference Proceedings but will have to be expanded and further refined for consideration for publication in the Journal.
Note: ALL FULL PAPER SUBMISSIONS FOR PRESENTATION AND PUBLICATION MUST CONFORM TO ONE OF THESE GUIDELINES.
SUBMISSIONS – PRESENTATION ONLY (also includes symposium, round-table, panel, workshop, etc)
Those wanting proposals for papers, symposium, round-table, panel, or workshop to be only considered for presentation and not publication, please submit detailed abstracts of their proposal including a theme or title for the session as well as a one page description of each participant’s role and contribution.
Please email all papers, abstracts, and proposals to BOTH:

. Papers accepted after review for inclusion into the refereed stream will have their papers published in the Conference Proceedings.
Authors are requested to follow this style guide for the formatting of their papers.
Electronic Submission
For the sake of consistency, please name all papers using the following guidelines: Familyname_initial(s)papernumber For example: Smith_JH1 If you are contributing more than one paper, use the following: Smith_JH2 Some word processors will automatically attach ".doc" to the name. This is quite acceptable. Some only allow 8 digits before the ".doc". If this is the case, simply use as many letters of your surname as you can, whilst still including the underscore, your initial(s) and the paper number.
Document Style for Publication
Type single-spaced on one side of 8-1/2 x 11 inch (or A4) white paper using generous (1 to 1-1/2 inch or 3 cm) margins on all sides.
Authors should submit an email version. Papers should include camera-ready copies of all illustrations and tables. All copies must be dark, sharp, and clear. Computer-generated manuscripts must be of letter quality (not dot-matrix).
Lengthy (block) quotations should be indented narrower than regular text.
The typeface used should be Times New Roman, 12 pt. Text should be justified. All papers should be numbered at the bottom centre of the page, starting with the first page (the title page).
The first page of the manuscript should be the title page. This title page should contain the author's name(s), affiliation, postal and email addresses and telephone and fax numbers. If there are multiple authors, the author presenting the paper should be noted with an asterisk.
The second page, numbered page 2, should repeat the title of the paper, allow six blank lines (for author's names and contact details to be inserted prior to publication). Two lines after that there should be a subheading "Abstract".
Then, another two lines down, include an informative abstract of 100-150 words. Then, another two lines down, include another subheading "Keywords". This should be followed by 4-5 informative keywords that can be used to catalogue the paper. An unnumbered footnote can be included on this page to acknowledge financial support or assistance in preparing the paper. (See sample)
After the Abstract and the Keywords (page 2), the paper should commence.
All paragraphs should be blocked and have one blank line between them. One blank line should also follow and precede all subheadings. Commence each paragraph flush with the left hand margin.
Main headings in the paper (such as the Title of the paper) should be in upper and lower case, and centred on the page.
Secondary headings (such as major subheadings within the text of the paper) should be in upper and lower case (with the first letter of significant words in upper case), bold, and flush with the left hand margin.
Third level headings should also be in upper and lower case (except where significant words commence with an upper case letter), be italicized and flush with the left hand margin.
Footnotes should be avoided. When their use is absolutely necessary, footnotes should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals and should be typed at the bottom of the page to which they refer. Place a line above the footnote, so that it is set off from the text. Use the appropriate superscript numeral for citation in the text.
Tables should be numbered (with Roman numerals) and each referred to by number in the text. Each table should be typed double-spaced on a separate sheet of paper and placed in order at the end of the manuscript. Center a brief explanatory title above the table, and type explanatory footnotes (indicated by superscript lowercase letters) below the table, such as probability levels for tests of significance. Each column should carry an explanatory heading. Authors should ensure that papers do not contain spelling or typographical errors.
References
Where there are three or more authors to be cited, only the first author's name is given for in-text citations, followed by et al. The style for in-text citations is as follows: (Smith 1984, p. 7). (Smith & Jones 1984, p.10) (Smith et al 1985, p. 32)
Multiple referencing of one author or a group of authors in the reference list with the same year of publication will be identified by the addition of small letters after the year, which should be evident in the in-text citation and in the reference list. For example: (Smith 1999a; Smith 1999b).
Quotations of four lines or more should be indented. Shorter quotations should be included in the text and identified with single quotation marks. Where quotations are used, page numbers must always be included. All journal titles should be spelled out in full in the reference list.
List references alphabetically at the end of the paper. References generally include: last names and initials of all authors, year published in parentheses, title of article, name of publication, volume number, issue number, and inclusive pages. The style and punctuation of the references should conform to that used in the International Journal for Responsible Employment Practices and Principles, as illustrated by the following examples:

(Ed.), Workers, Managers, and Technological Change: Emerging Patterns of Labor Relations, 111-134. New York: Plenum Press.
Legal Reference
Legal materials should be cited according to A Uniform System of Citation, published by the Harvard Law Review Association. In text, court cases are cited by name of case (italic) and year of decision, and statutes by name of act and year introduced.
Reference-list entries should conform to the following examples:
